Hi Again!
How are you today? I’m fine, just a little tired, but only a little, ok, as I promised on the previous post, today i’m going to continue with the top 5 (of my favourite) upcoming games for this year, on the previous entry, we were with Nintendo, today, let’s see what Sony has to offer, so, let’s begin!
PlayStation Portable.- Ok, the PSP is one of the best consoles ever, so many incredible games have been exclusives of this great portable console, and we wish it a really long life! But now let’s check which games are going to be released on the following months.
– La Pucelle: Ragnarok.- Ok, not many people might now what is this about, La Pucelle is a Tactical RPG game that was released quite some years ago, better known as: La Pucelle Tactics, an exclusive game for the PS2, and so, it was the first game from NIS America, for the PS2, and slowly, NISA began to localize more and more games that we know and love, like all the versions of Disgaea, all the Atelier Iris, Phantom Brave, the Mana Khemia games and so many more. Ok, so, La Pucelle Tactics was a great and funny game, playing as Prier, a cute (but temperamental girl) And an interesting cast of characters, ok, the fact is, that this game is suppoused to be a kind of sequel to the game, in fact, the game was just announced, but the official site is already up, if you want to see it yourselfs, then: http://nippon1.jp/consumer/lapucelle_ragnarok/index.html So, one last thing, it is said that there are going to be some characters from other NIS games on this, (coughDisgaeacough) but as i said earlier, the game was just announced, the release date is from the japanese version, we will have to pray for an english version, it is more likely they are going to do it, due to the competition with Atlus, which we will see more later, so for now, i’m going to dream with Prier, Yay! – Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising.- Ok, ok, i now most people are more eager to see info about Narutimate Accel 3, i’m one of them, but this game looks awesome too, at the beginning, this game was going to be awaited with a red carpet, but then, suddenly and without any warning, we heard the first news about Narutimate Accel 3, but, so far, there is no release date, and the game is most likely to be japanese only, even so, it is now, one of the best games to be released on a PSP. Ok, let’s see what we have, Akatsuki Rising is going to be released on the USA, it is not a fighting game, it is more like a sequel to the Uzumaki Chronicles that were released for the PS2, obviously with the Shippuden characters, and it will follow the Shippuden Story Arcs, maybe up to the Gaara rescue arc, not much, but it is something, the best part is that you will be able to play in both sides of the story, you can play as Naruto and friends in order to save Gaara and stop Akatsuki, OR you can play as Akatsuki and try to destroy your enemies! It has been confirmed that it will feature 42 characters, the only Akatsuki characters that you can select are: Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, True Sasori and Sasori with Hiruko, too bad, it would have been great to play as Hidan and Kakuzu, but if the game has success, it is more likely that we are going to see an Akatsuki Rising 2, so, let’s hope for the best. Release Date: North America 10/06/2009
– Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines.- Finally! Yes, yes, this game looks so awesome! Assassin’s Creed, the new generation of stealth, alongside Snake of course!, A brand new adventure, with one of my favourite characters ever, once again, alongside Snake of course!, Altair, this time, he returns to fulfill his destiny, and to continue his quest, to vaninquish the Templars, yes, this game will be a sequel of the original Assassin’s Creed, and it is here to answer all the questions that were left at the end of the original Assassin’s Creed. They said that there are some new features that were added to this version, currently i have no idea of which those could be, we’ll just have to wait to find it out! Don’t worry, the original gameplay hasn’t been changed, so we will have an incredible game! Release Date: North America 11/17/2009
– Shin Megami Tensei: Persona.- A master piece of the RPG genre, Shin Megami Tensei have a lot of tittles, but all of them are great, at the beginning, the games were only available in Japan, that was really awful, but suddenly, Atlus started the localization of the games to the USA, a great move! Shin Megami Tensei has so many different styles of gameplay, for each one of it’s games, we have the Devil Summoner sagas, the Devil Children sagas, the Persona saga, the digital devil saga and the main story, that goes around the normal Shin Megami Tensei. Ok then, this game is a remake of the original Persona that was released a lot of years ago for the PSx, if i’m not mistaken, the game was only in japanese, then Persona 2 was released and translated, also for the psx, but now, the original Persona is being remade for the PSP, new game content, better graphics, and many more things. One of the best things of the Shin Megami Tensei games, is the music, original awesome, just one of the best soundtracks in the rpg world, and even in the gaming world. – Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s: Tag Force 4.– And finally! The i-can’t-wait-to-get game! My most awaited game for this year! Really, this is the game that im waiting, my reason to keep holding on! Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D is my favourite anime, and so, i’m so happy to play the games! In Tag Force 4, live the events of the Dark Signers Arc, alongside your tag force partner! Select from over 3500 different cards, to make your deck the ultimate deck! Featuring cards up to Stardust Overdrive, and the greatest feature of all, the introduction of the powerful Dark Synchro Monsters! Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D Tag Force 4, promises to be the ultimate challenge for all the duelists on the world! Only for PSP! Release Date: North America 11/17/2009

So, what`s up? This update got a little delay, i was suppoused to update a few days ago, but i’m going to be honest, i was too lazy to do it, but, i’ll make up for that one, so i’ll post a few goodies today.
All right, let’s begin with Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, what’s new with that? well, Ovas 3 and 4 have been released, actually they were released just a few days ago, so the subs will be ready in a day or two, ok, there are low quality subbed versions in youtube, but the HQ subbed versions will be available most likely this week, so, i guess it is worth the wait, on a side note, Ovas 5 & 6 are scheduled to be out on October 21st.
With all the news about Yu-Gi-Oh! i couldn’t help to get excited, so i was working with photoshop, and i ended making my own Dark Synchro monster, here:
Ok, ok, i didn’t create the card, Frozen Fitzgerald already exists only in japanese, i just translated it, i also translated Dark Diviner and other few cards that were only Japanese, if only they were released in the TCG….
A few news about Yu-Gi-Oh! 5d’s Tag Force 4, we are at just 3 weeks for it’s japanese release, a little update revealed that the game will feature around 4000 cards, that would mean that it will have like 1000 new cards, thats quite something, Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2008 had exactly 2008 cards, if i’m not mistaken, it was up to Phantom Darkness, then, they released Yu-Gi-Oh! Stardust Accelerator WC 2009, which had 800 new cards, following the series up to Crimsom Crisis, (only 4 new packs, Light of Destruction, Duelist Genesis, Crossroads of Chaos and Crimson Crisis in that order) now, on the other hand, we have Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force 3, which had cards up to Crossroads of Chaos, and it featured like 3000 cards, off course that Tag Force series include cards that are Anime exclusives, meaning that they wont be released in the official TCG, an example is Advance Dark, a field spell that was featured only in the anime, and it was in Tag Force 3, so now in Tag Force 4, with 1000 new cards, it will be up to Ancient Prophecy AND it will have some cards from Stardust Overdrive, most likely it wont feature all the cards, just the ones that were used in the anime, off course, it will have all the other cards released in structure decks and other promotional things, including the duel terminal packs, and the limited editions cards, oh and before i forgot, it was confirmed that the game will make it to USA, so cheer up Duelists! We will be able to play it in english! Now, for the release date… It was just said something about November (USA), I don’t know if it’s going to be released in Europe, but i wouldn’t get my hope up, i recall that Stardust Accelerator WC 2009 was scheduled to be released on february(english version), then they delayed the game, like two months or more i think, i couldn’t wait so i got the japanese version, and i still play it, dunno if Tag Force 4 will have languaje selection like WC 2009.
Ok, who likes Total Drama Island? If you like it, you must be watching the second season, better Known as Total Drama Action, well, in case you don’t know about it yet, they are preparing the third season!, Yup, this great show will have a third season! It will be called: Total Drama, The Musical, so i guess we’ll refear to it as TDtM, it is rumoured and i repeat, rumoured, that the cast will feature 15 contestants, again, who will be in there, i have no idea, but there is one single thing that i’m certain, i don’t want to see Owen anymore! Shoot, i can’t understand why some people think Owen is cool! he is the character that i dislike the most, really, even Noah is cooler than him, ok, ok, i’ll cut it out before a fight begins, so, i’ll put more info as soon as it is released.
Does anyone around here like South Park? Well, i do, yes it is truth, i like South Park, but now i’m here to talk about the South Park Games, actually, i only liked 2 oh them, the ones for the psx, South Park Rally and Chef’s Luv Shack, which were really hilarious, why a im talking about this you may ask? Cause a new game its on it’s way to our homes! Yup, a new South Park Game was unveiled, it is called: South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! and it will be released for the Xbox 360, in fact, it will be on the Xbox arcade, currently, the game is under development, but there are a few pics and some gameplay around the net, so far, the game looks fun, but, as the people say, South Park games, are more for South Park fans.

So, today i’ve got some quite news, some are really fresh, other not so much, but anyways it will be fun, ok then , let’s get started.
Let’s begin with Pokemon, it’s been a while since the last time I said something about Pokemon, what do we have? New games! 4 new games for the Nintendo Wii, actually they are WiiWare games, but anyways, they look great! First we have, Melee! Pokemon Scramble, a 3d fight game, Pokemon style! It is not like Batte Revolution or Colloseum or neither the Stadiums, You actually come to play with Pokemon Toys, literally, yup, you use a Pokemon Toy and you train it, and play just like a RPG, yu can level up, fight bosses, etc, etc, i will be more detailed in the review, once i play the game, but for now, there are quite a lot Poke’s available to use, in fact, you can play with any pokemon from both the First and the fourth generations, (Kanto and Sinnoh), The game has been released in Japan, and it’s set to be out this year in USA, so that means we’ll have to wait a little more. The other 3 games are different, they are based on the popular Mystery Dungeon series, yup, but this will also be WiiWare Games, they are: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Keep Going! Blazing Adventure Squad, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Let’s Go! Stormy Adventure Squad and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Go For it! Light Adventure Squad. The fact is that these game are just like the Mystery Dungeon from the DS, with the difference of the main story and that this time, the game is in full 3d, it looks very cool, and this time you can choose which starter you want to use, with a little restriction, in each game, you can use a certain type of Pokemon, just like this, in PMD: Blazing Squad you can select a Fire type Pokemon, in PMD: Stormy Squad you can select a Water type pokemon and in PMD: Light Squad you can select an Electric Type, there are a few exceptions, like Eeve and Riolu, but the most are of the said types, the game has been released in japan, and it’s set to be released this year in USA, so it means more waiting.
To finish this Pokemon news, let’s talk about Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the remakes of the Gbc Gold and Silver, the Japan release date is just right the corner, september 12th 2009, and it’s said to be released in USA next year, most likely on Spring 2010, there are a lot of new features, so the wait will be worth it!
So, next i’ve got some good news about Yu-Gi-Oh!, First of all, a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game is on the making, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5d: Duel Trancer, this one is really new, it was just announced this week, it is set to be released for the Nintendo Wii, anything else is unknow yet, so it looks like we have to wait even more to find out something else. Next, the newest pack has been announced, following Stardust Overdrive, we are going to have Absolute PowerForce, with Savior Demon Dragon as it’s Cover card, featuring the cards used during the end of the Dark Signers saga, there is nothing else confirmed yet, so another wait comes up. And finally, Tag Force 4 is also near, set to be out September 19th, it is confirmed that it will go up to Ancient Prophecy, and that it will follow closely the events on the Dark Signers Saga, the bad news, you will play as the “cap guy” again, noooooo, shoot, i wonder why they can’t put a character maker, just like on the World Championship games? If they did it before, why they can’t do it now? Why? why??????
Talking about bad news, Naruto’s chapter 460 on the manga, won’t come this week, it looks like there is a strike in Japan, and Shonen Jump won’t release their weekly magazine, so no Naruto, no One Piece, damn…. one week more….. more wait…. can’t wait…. noo….
Ok, a quick new, GhostBusters, do you remember them? Well, assuming you do, they said that there is going to be a Third movie! Yup, there are developing the third GhostBusters movie, it is set to be out on 2012, but, it’s more likely it will be Computer Generated, oh well, anyways it will feature the original cast voices, so it’s not that bad, i wanted to see a third movie! The plot is not very clear yet, they might be writting it right now, so there is no plot confirmed yet, and once again, we’ll have to wait to find it out.
